Wang Kaeo Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Lampang with 102 stories high. Wang Kaeo Waterfall is a tourist attraction in Doi Luang National Park, which was declared a national park on April 16, 1990, covering some areas of Phayao, Chiang Rai and Lampang with total area of approximately 731,250 rai. It has high mountain terrain stretching north-south with Doi Luang as the highest peak. It consists of mixed forest, mixed evergreen forest, and dipterocarp forest including many kinds of wildlife and birds. The office of the park is located at the Wang Kaew waterfall area. Wang Kaeo Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Lampang. It was originated by the deposition of limestone mixed with water. There are about 102 tiers of waterfall, but it is a large tier of nine. When going up to the top of the waterfall, you will find the Yao hill tribe villages at Ban Pa Kha Luang and Ban San, whose path is quite steep. There is also a nature trail at Wang Kaeo Waterfall. The distance is approximately 1.4 kilometers.
